Biomarkers
Biomiljø has - for many years- performed research on environmental effects of pollution. More than 20 diagnostic methods ( Biomarkers) have been implemented and further developed.
We utilise a range of different biomarkers as study tools both in the field and in the laboratory, all in order to detect biological effects of pollutant chemicals. We also develop new biomarker tools when this is needed. Our general objective within the biomarker field is to help our clients to reach a better understanding of the environmental risk related to various kinds of chemicals, industrial processes and environmental pollution situations.
