Competence management:
CM ProWork Transfer
IRIS is a participant in the EU-project CM ProWork Transfer. This is a Leonardo/EU-project funded as an Innovation Transfer project.
The project is focusing on competence management (CM) in industry, thereunder mainly to metal industry and electrical branch, process industry and neighbouring branches with a relevant employment of industrial workers in the production.
The project is coordinated by Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering IAO, Germany. Other partner countries are Norway, Italy, Slovenia and the UK.
The project will have its kick-off meeting 13.-14. November, 2008 at the Fraunhofer Institute in Stuttgart.
The CM ProWork Transfer -project is the main project to the previous pilot CM ProWork, in which the competence management tool was developed, under the same name. The pilot was also funded from the Leonardo/EU programme.
