Political organisation and administration
Research into political organisation and management is concerned with political institutions, their structure, how they are organised, how they function, the effects of political processes in different parts of society, as well as the study of reforms of, and changes to, political systems. The study of interest groups and voluntary organising is a separate sub-theme within this field. Policy areas such as trade and industry, agriculture, transport, the environment, energy (petroleum, power), municipal and regional policy, health and alcohol/drug abuse, sport, culture and voluntary work form part of the research portfolio.
