Hello from Venice
14.09.2017
Travelling to Venice in May has become standard for many in the world of CO2 Capture and Storage (CCS). An Open Forum organized by CO2GeoNet (the European network of excellence on the geological storage of CO2 - http://www.co2geonet.com/home/) has seen the light for the 12th year straight.Interested readers can listen to session introduction and browse through talks
here.
The event gathered nearly 100 participants from all around the world and from all CCUS stakeholders. IRIS, as one of the founding members and member of Executive Committee, is actively contributing to the event.
Following the two days' open forum, a number of workshops were organized. IRIS together with Gassnova, arranged the workshop "fit for purpose CCS solutions” and participated in workshops organized under
the ENOS H2020 project – a direct initiative of CO2GeoNet.
The complete summary of the Open Forum can be found in the press release prepared by the
CO2GeoNet.
