The jar test bench is equipped with a hydraulic cylinder to perform tension and compression. The bench is designed to accomodate jars from 1 11/16 in to 8 in.
Testing can take place at elevated temperature.
A comprehensive data system makes it possible to collect data at high acquisition rate (by use of the IRIS Matlab® software specially made for testing of jars).
The stock point is a large concrete slab fixed to the bedrock.

The jar test bench can also be used for testing of joints, sand screens, extrusion and even horizontal drilling.
