Business and labour market

Studies of development trends in business have always been a key topic of IRIS’ research. They include monitoring economic development in Western Norway and sector-related studies within the energy and agriculture sectors, for example. With regard to the labour market, the correlation between labour market and skills has been a core issue. This includes studies of the correlation between supply and demand for various professions and of the strategies that can be used to improve the balance in the labour market in the short and long term.
